Profile and background
Karsten Thomas Henriksen heads up Loeven’s litigation team and conducts cases before all Danish courts of law as well as domestic and international arbitration tribunals. Karsten assists clients in the resolution of disputes concerning defective industrial products, environmental law, real estate, liability of professional advisers, breach of contract, etc. Karsten also advises clients on public law planning and assists private clients in asset management matters.

- Assisting landowner in Supreme Court case concerning compensation for acquisition of land by compulsion after having conducted and won the case for the landowner before the High Court
- Assisting Swiss Alpine Fish AG in international arbitration proceedings before the ICC in Paris against Krüger A/S concerning the acquisition of a defective fish farming plan
- Assisting a group of shareholders in an action for damages against a former legal adviser concerning a failed business investment
- Assisting a landowner in a leading case before the High Court in the first instance concerning the lawfulness of the so-called “Green Map of Denmark” rules and the thresholds for the practice of public regulation with no payment of compensation
- Assisted SPX Flow Technology Danmark A/S in successfully seeking an injunction against DS Triple A/S’ unlawful design and manufacturing of dairy plants
- Assisted Lotek A/S in settling a construction contract dispute against the main contractor and subcontractor concerning installation of fire protection systems in warehouses
