Profile and Background
Mads Poulsen is a partner in Loeven’s litigation team. He specializes in maritime and transport law as well as insurance law, with which he has more than 20 years of experience. Mads assists insurers with cargo claims and goods in transit liability / carrier liability matters in all modes of transport, including related insurance coverage disputes. Mads is also experienced in marine casualties such as collisions, groundings and issues concerning general average. Furthermore, Mads litigates commercial disputes, usually connected to insurance or reinsurance law, coverage and liability insurance.
Moreover, Mads is the editor of the Danish Insurance and Tort Law Reports (FED) concerning maritime and transport cases.
Mads speaks the Scandinavian languages, English, some German, French and Dutch.
